Jim Helman: Bio

Jim Helman

Composer:

The soundclips on the music page are from my new album “Spaceships”.

The seven pieces are my impressions of traveling through space and viewing the galaxies, star nurseries, and other phenomena as depicted by the NASA pictures of the day.

I have composed overtures and incidental music for the Theater of the Blue Rose, Berkeley Repertory Theater, the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, The League of Women Voters, and the Suhaila Salimpour Dance Troupe.

Recording/Mixing Engineer Discography:

All music recorded and mixed at Hypercussion Studio
Most recently, the Fox TV show "House" opened the Feb.5th episode with a piece from Richard Kaplan's album "Life of the Worlds", which I recorded and mixed.
