The soundclips on the music page are from my album “Spaceships”.
The seven pieces are my impressions of traveling through space and viewing the galaxies, star nurseries, and other phenomena as depicted by the NASA pictures of the day.


“Dracula” was written for a production by the “Theater of the Blue Rose”. 
“Romeo and Juliet“, and  “King Lear” are my musical impressions of two timeless stories.

 

I have composed overtures and incidental music for the Theater of the Blue Rose, Berkeley Repertory Theater, the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, The League of Women Voters, and the Suhaila Salimpour Dance Troupe.

I also scored the film “If the Walls Could Talk” directed by Edmundo Tinetti.





 

I have been recording spoken poetry for Voetica.com since 2011. There are over 7500 poems from all over the world.

 

Most recently, the Fox TV show "House" opened the Feb. 5th episode with a piece from Richard Kaplan's album "Life of the Worlds,” which I recorded and mixed.
